ChinaNite
Our Biggest Event of the Year
For the past 24 years, ChinaNite has become an important staple in CSO's history and identity. Every year, we blend fashion, dance, and acting in this unique theatrical fashion show that exhibits different facets of the Asian-American experience. ChinaNite has become an highly-anticipated event that continues to sell out year after year.
All proceeds of ChinaNite are donated to a charity of choice.

Get Involved
Students
ChinaNite first and foremost is a student run show. Students can apply to be show coordinators or audition to be models.
As the name "coordinator" implies,
ChinaNite coordinators are responsible for developing their scene's story, filming a short movie to go along with their scene, choreographing walks, and more. Models are the stars of the show! They are responsible for learning and executing each scene's walks.
Auditions generally happen in the fall, so be on the look out if you are interested in getting involved as a student.
Organizations
Over the course of running ChinaNite, we have had the opportunity to work with multiple business sponsors and charity organizations.
Sponsoring ChinaNite is a great way to gain exposure for your business to the Rutgers Community. Find more information about sponsoring here.
As mentioned above, all proceeds of ChinaNite are donated to a charity of choice. Please contact us at rutgerscso@gmail.com if you are interested in working with us a charity partner.
