Rutgers University Chinese Student Organization is a Chinese interest group that represents Rutgers' Chinese student body. Our mission is to raise awareness and help establish identity by providing students with the opportunity to learn and socialize with others through common grounds in Chinese and Asian American culture. CSO exists to contribute to the larger Rutgers University community through events and performances that display various aspects of Chinese culture and Chinese-American experience. This organization serves as a bridge for sharing experiences and fostering an environment for the mutual benefit and exposure to diversity. Additionally, the organization seeks to unify and provide educational, political, and social opportunities for dialogue and identity-building by collaborating with diverse Chinese groups as well as the other Asian minority groups.
